Taylor and Terrence – Married – Providence

Taylor and Terrence are awesome. I knew from shooting their engagement session that they would be easy going and have a great time on their wedding day, however I still underestimated how much fun the day was going to be. It started off raining, a fact to which any bride would be a little bummed, except Taylor. She was laughing and completely unconcerned as her and the girls got ready at the Hampton Inn in downtown Providence. The plan was to do a first look out on the cobblestone streets around the corner where the figurehead building is, the rain however had other plans. Like a trooper though Terrence waited patiently just out front of the entrance to the hotel and Taylor, dodging raindrops, still got to have a wonderful first look moment. In fact the rain ended up making for great moments of the wedding party crossing the street and protecting the bride and her dress. The ceremony and reception were held at Alpine Country Club, and in true Rhode Island fashion the weather went from downpour to full on bright sun for some great formal pictures around the country club lawn. The crazy weather ended up creating one of the most dramatic sunsets to end the day with and a perfect rainbow under which to frame the couple and cap off a perfect day.
